About
Living in the classical patriarchal society, women have to cope with many responsibilities and duties imposed on them from bedrock till death. Bereft of any choice, the Azerbaijani women must fulfill the role envisaged for them by men.
Aynur and her mother Mahizer live in the
patriarchal country of Azerbaijan. Aynur asks her mother what her dream is one day. Aynur deduces from her mother’s response to this inquiry that her mother has no idea what her dream is. Undesirable people do not die, but their existence persists. Knowing this, Aynur believes her mother has given up on the
dreams she once had. As a result, she inquires of her mother about her dreams at various periods of her
life, and she wishes to track down her misplaced fantasies. Both Mahizer and Aynur can discover what their ambitions are and not lose them as a result of their personal journey.
