DokuBaku International Documentary Film Festival is looking for enthusiastic, responsible, curious and creative volunteers to join us for our 10th Anniversary Edition, taking place October 5–11, 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
This year, under the theme STELLAR CIVILIZATION, we invite audiences and filmmakers to rethink humanity’s place in the universe — not as a dominant force, but as a conscious, responsible and interconnected particle within a much larger cosmic system.
And we need you to help bring this vision to life. ✨
🌍 WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We welcome volunteers who are:
• Passionate about cinema and documentary film
• Interested in culture, art and international exchange
• Curious about meeting filmmakers and guests from around the world
• Responsible, communicative and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a dynamic festival environment
• Students, young professionals, artists, filmmakers — or simply people who love cinema!
Previous festival experience is not required. Enthusiasm, responsibility and a willingness to contribute are what matter most.
🎬 WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Depending on your interests and skills, you may help with:
🎟️ Festival & Venue Support
Welcoming audiences, assisting at screenings and helping festival visitors.
🎥 Guest & Filmmaker Support
Assisting filmmakers, festival guests and international participants during their stay.
📋 Accreditation & Information
Helping with registration, accreditation and providing information to audiences.
🌍 International Relations
Supporting communication with international filmmakers and guests.
📱 Social Media & Content
Creating stories, photos, videos and other festival content.
🎤 Q&A & Events
Supporting discussions, filmmaker Q&As, workshops and special events.
🛸 Production & Logistics
Helping the festival team with the practical side of making DokuBaku happen.
