Call for Volunteers DokuBaku IDFF 2025
DokuBaku International Documentary Film Festival is returning for its 9th edition, taking place 13–19 October 2025 in Baku, Azerbaijan! This year’s theme, “5DIVINEHYPERMAT3X” invites us to step beyond the visible and known—to explore the infinite dimensions of reality, perception, and existence. Through this multi-layered lens, stories unfold, expand, and reshape the way we see the world.
We are inviting passionate, creative, and committed volunteers to join our team and help bring this year’s festival to life.
Why Volunteer at DokuBaku?

Volunteer Roles
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support different aspects of the festival, including:
Guest & Audience Coordination – welcoming and assisting festival guests and audiences
Event & Venue Assistance – helping manage screenings, talks, and workshops
Translation & Subtitling Support – supporting multilingual communication and film access
Media & Communications – creating content, social media support, and press engagement
Technical Support – assisting with screenings, equipment, and logistics
Hospitality & Festival Info Desks – providing guidance and support to attendees
